Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

General

DESIIR is digital research infrastructure that brings together datasets on sustainable health, including the environment, physical health, psychosocial health, culture, and population structure.

Use the Query Data feature in the Data Portal.

DESIIR offers guides and resources to support researchers and partners in the process of hosting a dataset. DESIIR follows the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) to ensure discoverability and reuse.

Accounts and Profiles

  1. Access the data portal: Click on Log in from the data portal.
  2. Authenticate via ORCID: You will be redirected to the official ORCID page. Log in with your ORCID account.
  3. Authorize access to your information: Agree to allow DESIIR to access your basic information:
    • Name
    • ORCID ID
    • Email address
  4. DESIIR account will be automatically created: After validation, your DESIIR account will be automatically created and linked to your ORCID profile.
From your dashboard, go to Account Settings to update your name, email address, or institutional information.
Select the dataset you wish to obtain and click on "Request access". You must fill out a form to be reviewed by the DESIIR Data Access Committee for approval.
